Italian Turkey Sliders

My first 2 star review. I guess every recipe can't be a winner. I was really excited for these, and the idea was great, but the recipe was a bummer. Something in the blend of spices made it taste weird. I liked the honey dijon mayo on the sliders, but that was this recipe's only redeeming quality. Brian summarized my rating scale as this tonight;
1 = barely even edible
2 = just food. It's not great but it's not bad
3 = good food
4 = great food
5 = one of the best things I've ever tasted
These are definitely just a 2. We even have leftovers in the fridge and I don't want to eat them. That fact, in and of itself, describes how I feel about them. I love leftovers for lunch but not these.

1 teaspoon salt
freshly ground black pepper
16 dinner or slider rolls
