My Calzone Rolls did not turn out anything like the picture below. I don't know if I was just frustrated by my screaming two year old looking for his "cell phone" or by the fact that these did not work the way the recipe said they would, but my experience making these was all around annoying. First of all the bread dough would not roll out nicely. Secondly, and maybe I rolled the calzones up wrong, but the middle did not cook at the temperature they stated. The outside was all brown and done but the inside was gooey and doughy. The outside rolls ended up having no meat, while the inside ones had too much meat. Things just did not work out at all with this recipe. Maybe I did it wrong, but if I did it is the instructions' fault for not being specific enough because I can usually follow a recipe quite easily.
Enough of my rant against this recipe though. I'd give this recipe 2 stars. I was tempted to give it a 1 but I think that I am just transferring some of my frustration on to it. I have made other pizza rolls before that are a lot better than this. I will have to post a review of it once I'm finished with this 15 for $1.50 series.
