This was the perfect challenge for a Sunday. What better place to wear your nice jewelry than church? I used to be very minimalistic with my jewelry wearing only my wedding ring, some earrings, and occasionally a bracelet. I had virtually no necklaces. In the past 6 months I've been trying to wear more and I'm slowly building up my jewelry collection. I was a little worried about what I was going to do for this challenge but I'm pleased with what I came up with.
I really like the look of layering bracelets and bangles with your watch so I wanted to try it out. It seems everyone I know (ok I know that's an exaggeration) lately has been getting beautiful gold Michael Kors watches from their hubbies and I've had my eye on a particular style wishing that Brian would get me one. Instead I found a similar style at Kohls and I love it. Now I don't mind when Summer tries to eat it or Logan insists on trailing it behind his tractor.

I paired it with some pearly bracelets and I like how it turned out. Although all throughout church I had Summer constantly grabbing at them trying to eat them. Jewelry and babies don't mix too well.
Me and Lissa have the same pearl bracelets. When I lived up in Cranbrook we used to go to Superstore and look at them together. Now we both have them.
Melissa:
So today was a nice break in the sense that I could just wear whatever I wanted and then just put on my nice jewellery. So I just picked out my new favourite outfit for church. I love my new yellow skirt. For my layered accessories I just did jewellery as you can see. I chose to wear different colours of pearl bracelets and then I wore my pearl necklace from my wedding with a more statement pearl necklace on top.

And because I couldn't resist, some more photos of Logan. I love how he is trying to pose just like me. Seriously love this kid!
