Wasn't too fond of the challenge today. I did try something new with my hair, but with the cut I have it took a lot of trial and error to get something to work. And I just don't have that kind of time with my kids. But I like how it turned out, and I probably will be styling it again this way so it wasn't all bad. Sorry to be a negative Nancy, it's just one of those days.
I do however love getting dressed everyday! I've noticed that I am now starting to do the challenges without thinking. Like today I saved two closet orphans, I mixed dressy with casual, I tucked it in, belted it, and wore a skirt. I have been searching and searching for a way to wear this shirt without looking like a frump and today I found it. I feel like this is a super cute outfit that I could wear to almost anything. It's just casual enough, or just dressy enough, to wear to the park or to church. That's my kind of outfit. Put together but not overdone.
Shirt: Ann Taylor Loft // Skirt: 10 years old, literally // Belt: Gift (similar) // Flats: Aldo (similar)
Melissa showed me this blog with tons of hair tutorials. I ended up choosing the simple knot . If it weren't for Melissa I would be having a really bad hair day today.

So as you have already seen from my pictures I never wear my hair up...like ever. I just don't love the way it looks on me if its not perfect. It is just so easy to wear my hair down because it is straight. But I have always loved nice up-dos but can never seem to get it right. My mom just recently gave me one of those mesh type circle scrunchys to do this type of a bun. I tried it for the first time today and I totally love it. So cute and the best part was it seriously took two minutes. I will be doing this again soon! Here are couple different angles.
