Work It

Happy Mother's Day and a happy last day! This challenge was so much fun and really made me take another look at my wardrobe. I feel like I can make so many more wardrobe combinations now and I have a few new outfits that I'm excited to try out. 

I was able to use my dress for my last remix today. And this is what I came up with. Brian's comment on it was "it doesn't look bad" so I'm assuming this is a success. The contrasting colors made me feel really "fun" today.

I really wanted to try pattern mixing with this skirt but after trying on everything I could think of came up with nothing that I liked. Just now I thought of this cardigan and quickly snapped some pictures. I actually really like it, but am a little afraid to wear it out of the house. So let me know what you think. Is it passable? I feel like it's pretty bold.

So today I had an awesome outfit to wear to church today. It was a dress I haven't worn in a very long time (at least over a year) due to being pregnant and such. Anyways I love it!! But my sister so kindly reminded me that I had not worn my remix item 3 times yet and today is the last day!! So this is the outfit I came up with for after church. Nothing fancy but comfy and I still think I look good. If you know me at all this is my style, cute but comfy, or casual dressy. Whatever you want to call me. Anyways happy mothers to every mother out there as well!! I hope you have a nice day with your families!!
